Hi! I'm so glad you dropped by so I could come check out your awesome blog! I enjoyed going back and reading some of your posts. We're a lot alike girl!
To answer your question I first soak the okra in a beaten egg and some milk to cover for about 20 minutes in the fridge. Then I roll in half corn meal, half flour of which I seasoned with something. I like creole seasoning so that's what I used, but I've also used curry and it was pretty good too. Then fry it up! It's pretty bland without some seasoning. Tastes like any fried veggie really.
Please drop in on me anytime. I love having company over on the blog. :-)

I don't even own a table cloth...but those are really pretty! And I'd love to have that horse topiary!! But the prices on those things can be pretty scary. Have a great evening!
Hi Robyn,
So.....you like dishes too.
The Sunflower dishes I found at a little store that has since closed. But I do see them at different stores from time to time. I saw them last on line at Replacements, LTD.com. They don't always have a lot on hand, but I keep checking back to see what they have. Why don't you just type Sunflower Dishes, in your address space and see what you can find, they would be less expensive there. Good Luck, if I have and further news I'll let you know.
Thanks for stopping by....

Hi Robyn...just wanted to stop by and let you know that Tablescape Tuesday starts this Tuesday...yipee! :-) I've placed a Tablescape Tuesday Logo that sweet Shelia made for me, over in my side bar. I remember that you liked the idea, so please feel free to copy and paste it to your computer so you can upload it to your sidebar if you are going to be participating. I enjoyed your Saturday at the fair post...what fun! It feels like fair time here with the cooler weather we've been having. Susan
Okay Robyn,
I checked out some on line sites for the dishes. The brand name is Certified Int. Corp. and the pattern is called Sunburst. At Replacements, the stock# is 228325, but they don't have many of the pieces right now. Keep checking..... Sorry I couldn't be of more helpfor now, but I'll keep checking.
