Welcome to Tablescape Tuesday!
This is the setting that I used for our Christmas Eve dinner.
The plates and bowls are from Pottery Barn.
I also have the plates in tan,
which works well with this tablecloth, too.
I'm saving them for a future post....
(Jacob and I ate an awful lot of Arby's to get them.)
I liked the star-shaped pattern on it.
I like the simplicity of it.
(She may never get it back. Sorry Mom.)
It is one of my favorites.
It fits my table beautifully.
She bought it at an estate sale.
Please visit Susan @ Between Naps On the Porch
for the rest of the table scape fun!

Sweet and simple... simply lovely!
Poor Mom...she is never going to get her tablecloth back! I really like your dishes... the star is perfect... and I wish I would get some glasses for eating at Arby's!!
That tablecloth is wonderful. Hope your mother forgets you have it! And those star-shape dishes are great too. Lovely tablescape. laurie
Looks just beautiful girl..I love those glasses and never knew Arby did anything like that thought all they has was roast beef and cheddar sandwiches...thanks for sharing...great job..hugs and smiles Gloria
The world is a better place with pink plaid napkins. The star dishes are incredible!
The star bowls are striking...
as Donna Marie stated...
I adore the Arby's Gift of love :) LOL
See, here is a prime example of use what you have and add to what you have...
A truly Pleasing Feast for the eyes!
I love those goblets, sure didn't know about that deal going on at Arby's.Your table looks so festive.
Hugs,
Chris
Hi Robyn...I'm not sure but I might have some of those goblets too...I'm loving that tablecloth for sure and even more so since it looks vintage. Very pretty tablescape! Happy New Year! ;-) Bo
Robyn,
I think your table looks "company ready."
Love that tablecloth I wouldn't give it back if I were you (lol) Hugs French;)
Wow, how did I miss that gorgeous set of Arby's glasses?! I have three sets of Arby's glasses, one dark green, and two sets of clear ones with white winter scenes on them. I love them. My brother-in-law is a manager for Arby's and he said the last year they did glasses they hauled dozens of cases of them just from his store to the DI bz no one was buying them!! I would have taken them!! Dishes are my weakness and I love to see how you set a table. Love the star plates (or are they bowls?) too! Cindy
I believe I would lay claim to that table cloth too...lol
Very unique use of the star bowls..unexpected!!
Happy New Year!
Arby's? Who knew? LOL! You better hide the tablecloth, because your mom will certainly want it back after seeing your precious table!
Those glasses really are beautiful - it's amazing where we find things sometimes!! Love the tablecloth, also. Sorry Mom - I would keep it, too. Sally
Hello and Happy Holidays!!!
I'm so glad that you stopped by my place and thanks so much for the info...I got it fixed finally...hehe!!!
I love your Christmas tablescape...that pretty little white star dish atop the green plate is just stunning!!! I think my favorite thing about your place setting is that darling little red plaid gift box that you used for the name card!!! Absolutely darling!!! Love that beautiful hand stitched tablecloth too...hmmmm, if I were a "bettin'" woman, I'd bet that Mom will never see that pretty tablecloth again...hehe!!!
Well it looks like you had a wonderful Christmas...I'm sending my very best wishes to you & yours for the coming New Year...May the Lord bless!!!
Warmest wishes...
Chari
I love the pink plaid napkins too!
Did those goblets really come from Arby's? Wow!
I just love your tablecloth! I'm sure you cherish it. Beautiful table. Happy New Year! Michelle
What a beautiful tablecloth. I can see why you would like to hold onto it..lol.. Love the star bowls are so unique. Girl I did not know Arby's had anything going to where you could come out with something as beautiful as those goblets..WOW... they are just too pretty for words...Is that cheesecake?? Girl is sure looks yummy...:-)

Love the tablecloth...great find! Maybe you could let Mom borrow it on occasion. :-) Love your star bowls...as everyone has today! This is the second tablescape I've seen today with Arby glasses...I never knew they gave away glasses. Reminds me of the old days when folks used to collect glasses from gas stations or when they bought jelly. Man, I sound old. Great tablescape...thanks for sharing on this TT! Susan
Hey guys! The Arby's glasses are from last year. They didn't do them this year. I also have a few of the one's with the Christmas scene on them because Jacob and his friend had to have them when we stopped there for lunch a few years back. Jacob wanted last years model and when I got it home I thought, Hey that's cute with the star bowls....so we had a few meals so that we could pick up the remaining 10 goblets. They are even rimmed in 24K gold -ooooo! My Mom's tablecloth is washed and stashed in my linen closet in hopes she forgets about it until the next time...
Hi Robyn, your tablescape is so pretty, I love the star plates and your mum's ops your tablecloth is beautiful, I hope you have a very Happy New Year and I look forward to blogging with you in 2009, big hugs, Kathy.
Hi......
Your blog is really interesting... Keep posting.... Wishing you " A Happy New Year''
Good Morning Robyn,
Lunch with the girls went great, sorry you couldn't make it.;) Isn't it nice when a business gives away things we adults can appreciate, like your glasses, instead of all those toys for kids, that they play with for a short time and then forget about. Guess we should send them a few little hints.;) I enjoyed your post like I always do when I come to visit. A VERY HAPPY & HEALTHY NEW YEAR to you and your family.
Hugs

Nice and lovely !
Can you tell me in wich country you live, I am ordening my blog visitors by country, sorry for my curiosity ...
Greetings from Belgium, and a Happy New Year !
You did a great job on the table. That tablecloth is gorgeous.
Like everyone else, I didn't know Arby's still did glasses. As a child, we ate there often. It was the only fast food my mother allowed. I think we collected Pepsi glasses from our meals.
Hey, I still use the small cheese spread jars for drinking. I worked for a man who would bring me in his empties.
Maybe today will be my wash the crystal day...maybe not. :)
Have a Happy New Year.
Great table setting. Thanks for stopping by.
I think I put on 5 pounds just scrolling through your recent posts!
Tasty page, this one!
I just love the table cloth and the star plate. What a great idea! I need a Pottery Barn here! I took a peek on down, Frosty is so COOL! I love those cookies too,
Those star bowls are just the cutest thing ever!!! I hope you have a wonderful and safe New Years Eve...and I hope 2009 brings joy and happiness to you and your family. It's been great fun getting to know you and I look forward to many laughs in 2009! HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I love the table setting. I like your flatware very much. It is just like ours. lol I bought it because it reminded me of my grandmother's. Since I'm 72, you know that was a long time ago that I visited my grandmother, but I always liked that pattern and didn't forget it.
Have a Happy New Year!
Charlotte
