Keepin' It Real....

Whew!  It's Friday and my heads finally above water.   I've been tagged and tagged so I need to get on  the ball here....

A few weeks ago Plantbuddy of Water Once a Week a frequent participant of Beverly's Pink Saturday and Sally's Blue Monday tagged me with this game.  I need to list 8 Random things about me and  then choose 8 bloggers to join in the fun.
I've decided to change my list up a bit and list 8 of my favorite things and then 8 of my Pet Peeves.

  1. Miniature Schnauzers
  2. French Fries/Mashed Potatoes/Baked Potatoes/
  3. Daisies
  4. Minnesota State Fair
  5. Hydrangeas
  6. Summertime
  7. Pasta
  8. Babies

8 Pet Peeves
  1. When the fridge door opens on the wrong side in kitchen photos or decorator shows.
  2. Salt on my SUV.
  3. Mothers that don't put warm footwear (just socks) on their baby's feet in the winter.
  4. Water spots on and around my sinks.  I must wipe out the sink and the faucet after each use so that it is clean and shiny.
  5. Cords showing from lamps, TV's, and computers.
  6. Viagra commercials.
  7. The volume of TV commercials and the needing to mute the TV when they come on and "blast" you out of the room.
  8. The person at the stoplight turning left in front of you that finally puts their blinker on at the last moment.

Ma'dame French from British Colonial Love Affair  tagged me with the latest game going around.  I need to list 10 Honest Things About Me...then pass it on to 7 others.

10 Honest Things About Me

  4. I avoid highways at all cost.  Thank goodness for the "avoid highways" check box on map quest.
  5. Cooking and baking are my thing.   I do "down home" and "made from scratch" whenever possible.
  6. Really, I am quite shy.
  7. I am a big sissy, I don't venture out of my comfort zone of about a 5 mile radius,

Robyn, We are so much alike! Although, I don't really have a thing for the MN state fair! lol
Count me in on the Diet Coke, handbags, babies, shy, baking, breakfast and highways! I've been to your neck of the woods and the freeway systems there with all of the changes you have to make to get into town would give me major anxiety! Plus, I hate to drive over bridges and you have soooo much water there!
P.s. I'll take regular Altoids, I don't chew gum--too much dental work!

Hi Robyn,

Don't worry about not being able to visit my blog, I can only imagine how busy you are these days. I'm content just knowing that you are okay and enjoying life as much as you can.

Hugs to you and Jacob.

OH MY GOSH...I always thought I was the only one that altered blueprints! I swear I can't see a blueprint without my fingers shaking and having to grab the nearest pencil or pen. Luckily in my job I get to do it all the time without people thinking I'm a freak. I used to go buy those house plan magazines just so I could "improve" on all the layouts!
