Blue Monday!

It's Blue Monday!

Since "Dr. Rude" declared
that I am a Fatso,
I probably should lose a few pounds.
But we won't tell him that.

I have started watching
my diet.
(It's going to be very hard,
because I love to cook & bake.)

But eating really wasn't that much
of a problem for me.
I usually have a Lean Cuisine for lunch
and a pretty decent dinner.
It's exercise that I lack.

I've had my eye on an Electra Bike
for quite some time.
Look at this little beauty!
Wouldn't I look great
tooling around on this?

This bike is  from the
Amsterdam Collection.
It's the Alexander Girard 3i
In the
"Tree of Life" white finish.

Isn't it the cutest thing?

After visiting my releative's gravesites
at Fort Snelling,
Jacob and I are off
in search of it tomorrow.
I'm sure we'll be popping into Cheapo's
to check out their vinyl LP selection, too.

Have a Safe and Happy Memorial Day!

Have a nice Memorial Day!
Don't forget to pop into

Robyn, that's the world's cutest bike! You need the sign I bought myself when an acquaintance of mine complained several times I had lost too MUCH weight (per doctor's orders). It says, "I am wonderfully made." I think it's Psalm 139:14 (if memory serves me correctly).

Love the bike! That's the cutest!

Happy Blue Monday...

XO,

Sheila :-)

Good Morning Robyn,

Tell Dr. Rude to KISS YOUR CHUNKY CHEEKS!!!!!!! (and your not referring to the cue ones on your face!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL) Who does he think he is????? People make me sick with being so pompous!

I am sure he is struggling with some sort of SHORTCOMING (HA HA) of his own to take out the time to pick you apart!

Robin we all need to excercise... especially now that we are all getting older. Take your time and find out what routine best suits you. Be sure to work out for health reasons and not because that faulty penile implant called you a name!

In the meantime.... the next time Dr. Rude decides to call you a Fatso... you make sure you ask him if he is feeling small today? (hehehehehe)

Happy Blue Monday!!!! Enjoy your day with Jacob!

Ditto to what Donna Marie said! My doc told me to lose 20 lbs but did it in a much nicer way. I only have 5 more to go. I'll tell you that giving up sugar has really helped. You can't help but eat healthier when you cut out the sugar and the starch. I guess you could eat a lot of fried chicken and fried okra and that wouldn't be so healthy. lol

These life changes are one step at at time. If you start an exercise that you like, that is a great first step. I love that bike. I've been wanting a cruiser for a long time. If you get one, let me know how you like it.

Do you have a favorite Lean Cuisine? I'm hooked on the Enchilada Suiza but you know I'm an enchilada freak. In fact I think that will be my lunch tomorrow. The long weekend meant too much eating for me. Time to get back on track!

Hugs, Bridget

Hi Robyn! I love that cute bike! I love to ride but am not doing it at the moment. Now your Dr. Rude was pretty rude, I think! I believe I would have just punched him in the stomach right there and then.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia :)

Shelia, You crack me up! You tell me I should have punched him in the stomach and then you tell me to be a Sweetie! You can't have it both ways. ~ Robyn
