Foodie Friday! Fresh Spring Pasta Salad

It's Foodie Friday!

I couldn't wait
to share
this recipe with you!

It's a very
Springy & Fresh
Pasta Salad....

Julienne  Asparagus, a Red Onion, a Yellow & Orange Pepper
into 2 inch sticks.
I make them about the same size as Penne Pasta.
Put the asparagus aside to blanch.
Meanwhile, grill 3 boneless skinless chicken breasts
with  S&P, Italian seasonings and Minced Garlic.

Boil the Penne to al Dente.
The last minute -  I toss in the asparagus to blanch.

Add a palm full of Italian Seasonings, Salt & Pepper & Minced Garlic.

Now for the Secret Ingredient...
 (besides love)
Girard's White Balsamic
Salad Dressing.

Enjoy!

That looks really good, and easy, which is what I like! I've never seen that kind of salad dressing. I'm going to have to look for it. I think my husband would really like it. Thanks for your encouraging words on my blog. A new "addition" will be loads of fun, I'm sure! ;O)

Robyn that looks so pretty. I'm going to give this one a try. I like a nice light pasta salad. I'm not a lover of peppers but I'll add them for the color and pick them out later. lol

Robyn, your salad looks yummy. I have never tried that dressing before. You can bet I will now. I see you cooked the asparagus with the pasta. A great idea. Your heart dish is so cute and PINK. Love it.
