BLUE MONDAY! DAY ONE OF SPRING BREAK!

It's a Blue Monday!
Jacob and I
are on
S*P*R*I*N*G    B*R*E*A*K

Friday afternoon
we strolled through
the
Como Park Conservatory.

The following picture is
the only one I got of the interior.....
As you can  tell -
the battery  died!

Saturday we ventured
outside my 5 mile comfort zone
to the first
Sonic
in our St. Paul area.

We ordered the burgers & tots.....

and of course the Limeaids
they always advertise.
I must say, they were
very refreshing!
AND we had our first 50 degree day
this year -
it really made it feel like SPRING!
YEA!

Jacob concluded that it was just okay.
He would've rather had a Culver's.

Hi Robyn, sounds like you had a real fun day! What a romantic story you told me about your nephew and his wife in Rome....so sweet and how special to be blessed together by the Pope John Paul II...Christine

Looks like fun! It's our spring break too. I love it because the weather's beautiful and college boy is home. All's right with the world.

Hey Robyn, thanks for popping over to the blog to comment on the flooring choice. I've been so hard at work in that room that I've had little time to comment back on the blog! :) Yes, I did try the pattern you were thinking of, and it looked a little busy. There are a lot of corners in the room, making the space visually cluttered when the stripe followed the walls. I hated that, because initially it was my idea to do the stripe all the way around the room - in a much smaller band. But this works well, and the more I look at it, the more I think it's great! :) I can't wait to get that bathroom finished, and having the extra pair of hands is just going to be such a blessing! Have a great day!

Hi Robyn,

I couldn't decided weather to post Maxine or not, but I think she's great so I went ahead and did it.

I sure hope that the weather turns warmer soon, I'd like to go outside without freezing. Enjoy your Spring Break.

One of the few places we have in this small town is a Sonic. Even Boudreaux (the dog) gets to go and gets a grilled cheese.

I love the Raspberry Tea.
