Tablescape Tuesday

Last year in Foods class Jacob had to prepare a meal at home and set the table.  We documented his project with pictures and he received an A+, of course!

Now here's the part I rarely see, thank goodness it's documented in pictures!

Okay - A+ indeed! Nicely done! Maybe he should teach the class!

Oh what fun. Well done Jacob! I might give my two adult children that aren't married yet this assignment and see how they do...

Now that he knows he can, the problem is how to convince him he should. Help around the house, that is. If you can figure that one out, you could easily get a patent or copyright, because no one to date has come up with the answer, at least, as far as I know. He gets high marks from me as well, for his project.

Tell Jacob he did a great job on his tablescape!! What is that yummy looking stuff in the dessert glasses? Looks like comfort food to me! Sally

Yep, good thing you documented it!
BTW, you have a drawer dishwasher? Do you LOVE it. Cuz I think I want one.

No wonder he got an A+. He even cut up pats of butter! I can see why you like the last picture best. hee hee

Your house is decorated so pretty for fall. I like the pumpkins peeking out of the china cabinet.

Jacob,

Thanks for letting you Mother share the great job you did. Would you like to come to our house and show my guys how it's done?

Robyn,

Do you remember if you saw our master bath and what we did and used in there to re-decorate? If not let me know and I'll post those pictures.

Atta boy, Jacob! He may be our next TV chef in the making, huh? He has a cute smile as he's loading the dishwasher as if to say, "only doing this for your photo, Mom!" The menu looks yummy..

Robyn,

It's been a few years since we closed my store, but I still have a lot of good memories from it, and I made many good friends.

Crafts were only a part of the store, my biggest sellers were dolls and flower. Silk wedding flowers were a big thing for the girls in the area, much less expensive than real, and they liked the idea that they could keep them. Girls would also bring in a picture of a headpiece they wanted, but found that it cost almost as much as their dress. So I was able to make what they wanted for far less than a bridal shop asked. I started in a bridal shop when I was in high school, so working with the girls was a natural for me.

I should post a picture of my daughter's wedding, I did all the flowers. You'll laugh when you see how many were in her wedding party, I still can't believe it myself. ;)

Thanks for dropping by....

Robyn,

I'll post pictures as soon as I can, one of our dogs was sick for two days and I've gotten behind on things around here because of cleaning up after him. He's a BIG Chocolate Lab, so the mess was big. :O( So keep checking back and I'll do the same with yours. I'd love to see what you did for your wedding, as I wrote, my interest goes way back.

Hugs

With all the work that went into that meal, I'd be surprised if he didn't get an A. That's a bit more cooking than I do unless I am really in the food to put something together.
