The How I Spent My Summer Vacation - Pink Saturday Extra!

If you're a Minnesotan,
and you travel "up north"
to the lake -
You have to make a pit stop
at

It's a tourist trap
overstuffed with
every "kitschy" item imaginable.
for great pix of the place.

As you can see,
I didn't get out of the place
without having to buy
something...

It's located
just right up Highway 10
in Royalton, MN.
About 90 miles north of the Twin Cities.
You can have free ice,
a free cookie and free water!
Who can pass that up?

Stay tuned...
more vacation pix to follow!

Gee, Wish I'd had that mosquito catcher last week at a cook-out. I would have at least half a coat by now! *grin* You seem to have had a really fun trip.

Robyn, you made me laugh aloud. We could have used some of those mosquito traps around here this summer. ;-)

thanks for coming by robyn, I just can't seem to go for it, I love pink, but earthy tone on tone is so easy to live with. I hope to get to see those chairs of yours soon...

Hello Robyn, I loved your Treasure City post. I clicked to see the details in the store. My dh would love the gator heads(he is a Fl Gator as are three of our kids) lol. I like the moccasin sign. I usually buy a pair every year. The piggy banks are very cute as well. I know you had fun looking at ALL that stuff. I like the sign you purchased. We have driven through Minnesota once, on our way to Glacier National Park a few years ago. I remember a beautiful state with lots of lakes. I would love to visit Treasure City one day.

Hugs...Jeanne

Treasure City - who wouldn't want to stop and go inside? :-)Recession coins, I know the situation may be bad but you can't help but smile about these. Very clever to come up with something like this. And free cookies, you say? :-)
