Just look at Miles...
He' s looking at me with that look,
like "Did I do that?"
Yep. You did. Just look at my lawn.
I think somebody had too many
Beggin' Strips this winter....
Actually, they are starting to fill in nicely.
And Miles just had a spiffy new trim.
I'd take a new picture,
BUT MY BACK WENT OUT TODAY!!!
If anybody has any tips,
or pointers,
or remedies please let me know!!!!!!
I was vacuuming at work
(our whole office in 7 minutes flat....)
and when I went to lift the vac into the supply closet
I felt a tingle in my spine.
I didn't think too much of it,
but as the night progressed -
so did the pain.
I can hardly get off my chair
to put weight on my legs!
I am popping Aleve like candy.
I just took 4....
It will be a fun day at work tomorrow.
I can't take the day off,
we already have our receptionist
taking off for a cortisone shot
for her frozen shoulder,
and a Hygenist leaving
for another appointment.
(We're all getting old....)
So I'm cleaning kids teeth tomorrow.....
Meanwhile,
Since this is
Outdoor Wednesday
I think that
Susan
@
would like me to get to my
Outdoor contribution.
This is my Garden as of last Saturday.
It's greening up by leaps & bounds!
I'm excited.
I'm also zone 4
so hang in there guys
it will be at it's peak
Mid-July!
If it isn't ripped out of the ground first.
We are currently experiencing
30 mph winds!

Happy Outdoor Wednesday Robyn! I am so sorry to hear about your back. I have problems with back spasms from time to time....and a hot shower helps some...that...and alot of Aleve! I hope you are able to find some relief! Thanks for sharing your photos.~ Susan
HAPPY OUTDOOR WEDNESDAY ROBYN,
YOU HAVE A VERY SWEET DOG AND I LOVE YOUR GARDEN.
I AM SO SORRY ABOUT YOUR BACK. MY HUSBAND HAS HAD TWO BACK SURGERIES AND HIS BACK IS 75 PER CENT WORSE THAN BEFORE THE FIRST SURGERY.
IF YOU LAY ON YOU BACK AND DO SLOW LEG LIFTS IT HELPS STRETCH YOUR LEG MUSCLES AND TO HELP YOU USE YOUR LEGS VERSES PULLING YOUR BACK.
I HOPE YOU GET TO FEELING BETTER. I WILL ADD YOU TO MY PRAYER LIST
HUGS

Hi Robyn
Oh I am sorry about your back...how can you do your work and having to sit like that. Sometimes it just takes a little bit of something to do a bigger feeling thing. Feel good!
I don't know what to say about your lawn...doggies just tend to do that. hmmmmmm.... Isn't spring lovely?
have a lovely day
Judi
my doctor said ice everything that hurts...tried it on my shoulder and it helped...is Miles a schnauzer? I have 2...they are so much fun....hope your back gets better...there are some good stretching exercise on the internet...my husband uses them and it helps with his back
Ah, i am sorry to hear your back is not feeling fine!
for us...we seem to be aleve or motrin...then hot shower..then muscle rub...
chocolate is always in there (edible sweet treats) LOL doesn't really help my back, but don't tell my husband! LOL
PS they make supplements for pets to halt the acid in the urine (all natural).
also they have lawn spray to neutralize those areas and encourage growth! :L)
If all else fails, use what we use in our landscape photography...green veggie dye!
Oh no -- backs going "out" are just absolutely the PITS. You don't realize what a very important piece of bodily equipment your back is .. until you can't use it without pain!
I wish I had a magic cure but I find the surest way to get better is just time -- it just takes its own sweet time recovering. Be careful and "favor" it.
Looking forward to seeing your garden at its full bloom.
Cass
Hi Robyn, your little dog is so cute. I hope your back gets much better.
Happy Outdoor Wednesday.
Barb
Robyn, I'm sorry to hear about your back. Your lovely garden will be spectacular in a few weeks.
Robyn I hope you are feeling better I know about back problems they suck! Hope you had a wonderful Mothers day girl;) Hugs French
Love your doggie pic. Your garden looks great. I guess you won't be able to get out and pull any weeds with your back out. Hope you recover soon!
hope you feel better soon !!!!
thanks for the birthday wishes!
I think Miles and Sophie were on the same diet this winter...come to think of it so was I. ROFL
I hope you made it through the day okay.
Hugs, B.
I was wondering where Miles was, he is so cute. I am sorry to hear about your back Robyn. I suffered with sciatica many years ago, the first time it happened I took myself off to bed but the doctors said it was important to keep moving, I don't know what type of back problem you have but it sounds like you will have to keep moving anyway, having to go to work and all. I feel for you though and wish you a very, very speedy recovery. Your gardens looking good and I cannot wait till July to see it in full bloom, ours will have given up and wilted from the heat by then, hugs, Kathy.
Oh so sorry your back is giving you fits. Hope you feel better soon...
I bet that handsome dog rules the roost at your house! I was addicted to aleve once for about six days when I did something to my back. I would swear by it. Just watch it as I was advised by MD not to take that strong of a dose for extended period of time unless you are under a doctor's care. It is a wonder drug and the generic version of it works just as well and is much less expensive.
Happy Twirls
Heck...even if he makes the lawn a bit patchy for a time...he's so adorable it's worth it! And you KNOW I'll be happy to take him off your hands! Miles can pee on my grass anytime! I hope your back starts feeling better soon...I did that once and it totally sucked!
So sorry to hear about your back. I know that can be a real pain. Did you know I used to be a dental asst. I look forward to seeing your garden come july...Loved hearing about the cool things you have going on in your rooms. Thanks for visiting.
Ow! When your back hurts, everything hurts. I sure hope you heal soon.
