Outdoor Wednesday! Planting Seeds!

I am so happy!
I actually have tulips blooming
this year!
Usually, the bunnies
munch them off
before I get a chance to see them!
Maybe it's because
my
Stone Rabbit
is standing guard.....

The Fritillaries are spreading beautifully...

We took our chances & planted a few seeds this weekend.
Jacob scuffed the seed coats with the rasp.
We soaked them in water while
we went for a quick drive...

We planted both varieties in the sunny side garden -
with love.
Our fingers are crossed.
Hopefully we'll have good news
to share with you this summer!

I LOVE YOUR RABBIT WITH THE TULIPS. THAT IS A PRETTY PICTURE.
THIS IS MY FIRST TIME PARTICIPATING IN OUTDOOR WEDNESDAY.
I AM NOT FAMILIAR WITH RUBBING NEW SEEDS ON RASPBERRIES AND THEN SOAKING THEM. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THAT.
THANK YOU FOR SHARING THE PICTURES.

I can't wait for the sunshine to come visit and stay awhile. looks like your spring/summer is off to a good start.
Somehow the Dogwoods have been able to flower through all the rainfall.
They're beautiful in pink.

I love your photo of the garden rabbit. I'm feeling a bit whimsical...he reminds of the lions that guard the entrance to the Art Institute in Chicago.

Hi Robyn,

I started to send you a hello the beginning of the week, but we lost our cable, phone & tv, then never got back to what I was doing.

I've been extra busy lately sewing, getting our pack porch cleaned up for the season and of course cleaning the pollen we got off of everything inside and out. We opened our windows, NOT THINKING,:( on a warm day, and everything got a thick coat of pollen on it.

I'm waiting to plant flowers this year. Last year we got a late frost and the flowers never recovered completely.

Hope you have a HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY.

Hugs
'D'

Hi Robyn...just love your post... the tulips are so, so pretty with the rabbit. You are so right about the spiderwort...I searched for photos and yes...that's it.
Thanks and good luck with your flowers...I'll post the spiderworts after they bloom...I just love them.

Cute stone rabbit and pretty tulips! The squirrels eat my tulip bulbs, but they leave the daffodil bulbs alone.

Hope your garden grows well!
