Remember Me from RMS?

Jacob's Backyard Cabin in the little woods....

This little cabin was crafted by Grampa about 10 years ago.
Boy does time fly.   It has hosted birthday parties, sleepovers, video game marathons (Guitar Hero - have you guys tried this - it's almost as addicting as blogging and Wii bowling, too),  Monopoly nights, baseball play-off parties.
This kid is so spoiled,  I recall studying spelling words with him
over his walkie-talkies.   Grampa, too.   Of course, the cabin contains a TV & DVD player with stereo surround sound.   (Actually, I use the stereo  a lot myself when I am out gardening...)
We have all ordered snowcones through the window, as well as popcorn, Coca-Colas, candy, lemonade, etc.
It is his laboratory and workbench and art studio and reading nook.
Miles (the schnauzer) wants in
and heads straight for his own private stash of Twizzlers in the bottom drawer.

I Love how the trees overhang the eaves
 and make it so cozy.
And this time of year the backyard just glows!

I love the fall.  I just don't care for the raking.
But I love the jumping in the leaves part!

It's a beautiful cabin!! I am totally laughing about the Guitar hero comment. When I went home to visit my kids in Utah I started playing my sons Guitar hero...by the time I left a week later my "guitar fingers" were so sore and my wrist was permanently cramped. I couldn't STOP!!! I was so addicted I came home and told my hubby I needed one for Christmas...you should have seen the look I got lol I've been having withdrawals for over a year now...I still WANT ONE BAD!!! Maybe Santa will give me a break this year!

I was onlymehere......I don't like change and some of my RMS buddies were over here so I used the name in blogland too! LOL!

Oh Robyn! What a wonderful cabin. That is something he will always remember you know...about his grampa who built it for him...of all the splendour and imagination he could share as a result of it.
I love how you wrote this post and the picture with the cabin surrounded by the leaves and the colours.
Thank you for sharing such a nice time.

Now that's my kind of cabin - TV and DVD surround sound - wow! It would be a great retreat (for adults too). How very fortunate Jacob is to have a grandfather that cares so much.
