A Pink Saturday Tea Party!

It's A Garden Tea Party! Me and my Cousins, my Mom and My Aunt decided to use our pretty glasses, flowery china, cut glass bowls and platters. Of course, I forgot my camera so I am at the mercy of my cousin for a few snapshots. I promised all that I would not identify them in the photos.
We all prepared salads and desserts. Our menu included Appetizers such pinwheels and cucumber rye toasts, A pasta salad, A Broccoli Wild Rice Salad, Ambrosia Salad, Chicken Cranberry Pecan Wild Rice Casserole, Croissants with heart shaped pats of butter, all the usual pickles, olives, etc.
Our desserts were Mini Lemon Merengue Tartlets, Mini Cheesecakes, Mini Scones, and Mini Chocolate Cupcakes. (I prepared the Broccoli Wild Rice Salad & the Cupcakes.)
Jody & Jill's daughters were our waitresses. We rang our crystal bell for service. They promptly refreshed our Diet Cokes, brought ice cubes, switched out courses. A great time was
had by all! We all agreed that we were going to do this again real soon!
Happy Pink Saturday! Don't forget to click here to visit Beverly@How Sweet the Sound for all the Pink Saturday participants.

I came over to check out your blog because I noticed your comment on Nihal's blog. I was intriqued by your blog because "I am Jacob's Grandma" although not your Jacob, of course. My Jacob is almost nine but it seems like only yesterday that he was a little buy like the one in your picture and post of Oct. 17. What a cutie!! Now to those cupcakes and the tea you ladies held...........they are lovely and the food sounds delicious!!

That tea party sounded like it was so much fun especially to be with family and all those beautiful cupcakes! lol lol I just about gave up trying to go to RMS to visit old friends cause it just won't bring anybody up anymore...I type in the names and it says no spaces found on nearly all of them I try to go to..It is just not the same any more...but I am so glad to see more and more of my old friends starting blogs..it is such a great way to stay connected and share more of our lives and laughter with each other! Take care girl and have a beautiful Sunday!

What a great idea! I bet you used pretties that you haven't used in awhile. Now I want to have a tea party, but my cupcakes will not be nearly as pretty as yours. Thanks for visiting my blog. I just started blogging a week ago, and I'm not sure I know what I'm doing. laurie (bargainhunr)
