Pink Saturday!

Nothing makes me happier
than reaching the weekend
after a very lonnnnng work week.
The Sweetest Part
of course!

I cannot believe
that it is already mid-July.
Where has this summer gone?
I am in the midwest
and it has been a very chilly week,
and a very weird summer.
I'm ready for a vacation
and
some sunny skies.

Is there anything more refreshing than watermelon on a hot summer day? Our summer has been HOT and I'm looking forward to fall for some cool breezes and a chance to enjoy being outside.

Love a nice cold fresh watermelon. It's surely not chilly here in Florida.

Mmmm... watermelon!

And why is it that the rest of the damn year just drags by, but the second my girls are out of school the calender just speeds ups? I hate that shit!

Robyn, could you send some of that chilly weather towards Phoenix. We sure could use some honey we are having a heat wave out here. It was 120 degrees on the porch this afternoon. So hottt. Love the watermelon. Sure looks sweet to me. Watermelon is always nice on a hot day. Summer is what it spells. Thanks for sharing. Please stop by and say hi. I would love to have you visit. Sweeeeeet! I froze some watermelon that I had put in the blender. Then, we scraped it with a spoon to make watermelon "ice"! It was sooooo yummy!

Robyn, You're so right. It's been freezing here in the midwest. The watermelon looks delish. Maybe we could eat it around a campfire! Thanks so much for the birthday wishes at Vicky's.

Love the watermelon pic! Havent had any yet this year. It was 53 yesterday....hopefully we are over the cold front now. We did get a down pour earlier this week...everything is really green...Pocket that doesnt get rain? Thats weird...hopefully you will get rain soon...preferably at night or while you're at work...I love it when it rains and I'm at work...then I dont feel like I'm missing out on anything going on at the lake!

It really has been a strange summer. I'm on the East coast and it's been fairly mild.

Love the watermelon!
