they bloom in June & July.
This variety is 3 feet tall.
Ahhh....Delphiniums.
Again they bloom in June
and again in September.
Sea Holly....
Not in my zone,
but I buy them
as an annual.
Lavender - can you imagine the scent?
My very favorite -
Hydrangea.
This is an Endless Summer.
I planted a few in my garden
and last year
I got one bloom per bush.
I think I need to move them
they are in too much shade.

Hi Robyn, I love these blue flowers..Blue is my favorite color!! I have never seen a Sea holly.It is probably too hot to grow in my area.

What a good idea! I've never grown blue flowers much although I like them. My mom always has them.
ReplyDeleteYou definitely picked some winners here. The hydrangea is always a safe bet -- if you can keep them alive that is. I've never had much luck with that, but they sure are nice while they last.
ReplyDeleteI have a blue hydrangea too. Since I've planted it I've gotten green leaves but no flowers...not sure of why. Hopefully this summer it will bloom.

ReplyDeleteYour blue flowers are pretty! The hydrangeas on the north side of my house do fine, so maybe you need to just be patient with your new ones--they might need Miracid (it's like Miracle Gro only acidic).

Hey girl....I love seeing blue in a garden and I adore Hydrangeas....I have a huge one that blooms pink and purple....can't wait to see some color in the yard! Hope you are having a great day!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! The blue hydrangeas are my favorite. I have one bush and no matter how much fetilizer I add to the soil it still blooms pink!!! Love, love, love the blue flowers, all flowers!
