I'm Hooked On...

Meatloaf!

Notice how mine is encapsulated in bacon.
That is probably the only part
that Jacob eats.

On a cold winter day
it's a warm comforting meal.

I'll give you my recipe
if you give me yours.

The Best is the
leftover
Meatloaf Sandwich!

Don't forget to visit Julia @ Hooked on Houses
to see what everyone else is Hooked on too.

  3. Mmmm, that looks SO GOOD! Wrapped in bacon huh? I'm going to have to get Scott to try that!

You're right! I forgot the laundry, and equipment room. Gonna have to have the water heater and furnace somewhere too! See what not being an architect will do!? I was just trying to get the windows in the right place to look divine with my furniture! LOL!

I had an architect to an unofficial review of the plan yesterday - and he didn't even catch that! Good eye Robyn!

  4. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment! I haven't had a meatloaf sandwich in a long time, that sounds delicious. I hadn't heard about World Market closing...is it all stores? I will have to go check it out!

  5. I find it very ironic that you commented on my blog because when clicking on links from the HOH page, yours was the first I clicked on! AND... we love to wrap to the meatloaf in bacon! AND... I came -->this close<-- to posting the family meatloaf recipe today instead of the lasagna one...

Bonus: What cute doggies you have!

  9. Hi Robyn...

Girl, wished you could hear me "lickin' my chops" right now...hehe!!! Your meatloaf looks scrumptious!!! I don't use bacon on mine but it sure looks good, I'll try it! I totally agree with you about the "leftover" meatloaf sandwiches...I actually like the cold meatloaf sandwich better than the hot "first time around" meatloaf...hehe!!!

    Hmmm...now I'm hungry...I'm off to the frig...hehe!!!

    Warmest wishes...

  10. Meatloaf wrapped in bacon? That's a new one on me. I happen to think everything's better with a little bacon on it, so this looks good to me!

Thanks for joining my blog party and making our mouths water today. :-)

  11. This is funny because yesterday I said right out loud to no one because I was alone.... "Everybody loves bacon" I am sure that is not true but in my world it is. I would be right there with Jacob, just give me the bacon. And it looks yummy. I would like the sandwich better too.

  12. My husband loves his meatloaf!! So, I probably have made it 1250 times in our 50 years of marriage. That's a lot of meatloaf. He loves it leftover in a sandwich, also. I can take it or leave it. Yours looks good with all of that bacon! Sally

  14. The bacon looks great. I put cheese on top of mine and sometimes serve it with a brown mushroom/red wine gravy. Yum!

  15. Now THAT is a meatloaf! It looks delicious. I'm with you about cold meatloaf sandwiches--nothing is better, except store-bought birthday cake for breakfast. :-)
How did your cookies turn out?
