How Many Licks Does It Take
To Get To The Center of a Tootsie Pop?
Click HERE to see the cute Tootsie Pop commercial
with Mr. Turtle and Mr. Owl.
I haven't figured out how to post You Tube videos on my blog yet. Sorry.
Then click HERE to visit Beverly and the rest of the Pink Saturday gang.
Hope you have a nice day! ~ Robyn
Oh, good, I get to teach! To put You Tube on your post, look to the right of the You Tube video you want. Find the little box entitled, "embed." Copy that by clicking on it and saving it (with your mouse). Paste it dab smack right onto your post (making certain your post is on the "HTML" setting. That's it. You'll see a window on your post, and it'll be with you forever. :-)

ReplyDeleteI never bite mine. I always suck them, so I don't know how many licks it takes. ;-)
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday, Robyn.
Clever idea. Now you've made me want a Tootsie Pop. In fact, we do have some of those left over from Trick or Treat last night. I wouldn't want to count the licks though.
ReplyDeleteCharlotte
Very cute!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a fun & Bless weekend,
Virginia
The best color of tootsie pop : )

Hey Robyn, the tootsie pop made me smile, even before seeing the video. When I taught kindergarten and first grade, tootsie roll pops were the ultimate bribe for a quiet classroom, lol ... any child who took it out of their mouth during movie time had to throw it out. Not *my* idea, mind you, the other teachers were doing it when I arrived and I got corraled into it.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate your comments on my Friday MHR post. Santa is, indeed, a geologist, but it never occured to me that's what the coal was all about. On a strange-and-sad note, my FIL passed away early Friday evening, just hours after I had written that post, so we spent today with my MIL and other relatives and had a teary-but-joyful day. I got my pink post up late, but made it before today officially becomes tomorrow.
Hugs,
Victoria
Robyn, I grew up with those commercials so they are so nostalgic to me! :o)
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteGreat Pink Saturday Post! I love tootsie pops, but I can never get to middle without crunching it. Thanks for stopping by my place. Take Care!!
Sherrie
I love it when Olw says "Ta-WHO" for "2" Thanks for reminding us of great old commercials (where you could actually KNOW what they were selling!) LOL
ReplyDeleteColleen

ReplyDeleteHey there! The book we're gonna read first is American Pie. I'm still going to give everyone a month to get it and read it but I plan on doing it with all Michael's Lee West's books, then if people are still into it we can do other authors too...
ReplyDeleteLove tootsie pops!!!
Buffie :)
That was a cool idea! I love Tootsie Pops, too. Happy Pink Saturday!
ReplyDeleteI love that commercial...I don't remember there being pink wrappers back in the day :)...they have everything now!
ReplyDeleteI remember seeing that commercial as a kid and trying to see how many licks it takes. It seems like I made it to like 280 or something before I gave up counting. TFS
ReplyDeleteI remember those commercials!! I think my friends and I even tried to count lol!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink!!
First off, thanks for visiting my pink post. Many of my hankies came from my little white haired Grandma Aeline who passed away 17 years ago--they are very nostalgic to me as she always had a hankie tucked up her sleeve!
ReplyDeleteSecond, I love your pink post--pink tootsie pops are my favorite and watching the turtle and owl commercial brought lots of memories as I grew up with those, many years ago.
*smiles*
Kim
Who doesn't love a tootsie pop?
ReplyDeleteGreat post!
Happy Pink Saturday!
LOVED this clever Pink Sat. post! I think this Pink Challenge is bringing out the best in us! There are so many great approaches to Pink Sat! I recall that commerical and I, too, can't figure out how to get a UTube Clip in my post! I haven't messed with it much---nor will I! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had a simple voting experience, too, and that you were also rewarded with a little sticker! I am so glad it is all over---I imagine the candidates are too-especially their families. It was great to visit you again--Happy Belated OR EARLY Pink Sat!! dana
Such fond memories! I still love tootsie pops. I used to try to count but never succeeded.
